Ulrich Erben | Neue Bilder | Festlegung den Unbegrenzten (Defining the Infinite)

Ulrich Erben explores the interplay of light, architecture and landscape. In his cycle "Festlegung den Unbegrenzten" (Defining the Infinite) it is especially the light which he captures, he embeds it in colour fields in the form of partly hardly perceptible gradients. The resulting shine lets the painting shine naturally and thus expands the space.

In the new works that comprise his first exhibition at Sies + Höke, the paradoxical combination of emotion and calculation is particularly evident. Ulrich Erben gives here a small insight into his way of thinking.
