The Prize of the Böttcherstraße in Bremen, which is endowed with € 30,000, will be awarded for the 45th time in 2016. The Prize is one of the most important awards for young contemporary art in Germany. Ten distinguished curators independently recommend one artist each whose work is then displayed at the Kunsthalle Bremen. In the course of the exhibition a high-ranking jury will determine the winner of the prize.
