The photographic series The Ghosts was created during the corona pandemic. These are images of smal self-designed miniature models. The living spaces, which are mostly empty apart from a few curtains, appear desolate desolate, abandoned and indeed look „gostly“. They are not reminiscent of the carefree play of a former childhood. Instead, the doll‘s house worlds develop an unsettling atmosphere. They appear like gloomy dream images or barren movie sets. The Ghosts draws a psychogram of a society in which loneliness, fear and hopelessness are increasingly finding their way into our own private spaces.
About FORT
FORT consists of Alberta Niemann and Jenny Kropp. Since 2008 they create installations, performances and video installations (until 2013 with Anna Jandt).
