Women‘s shoes
Dimensions variable

Women‘s shoes by 2much are arranged in a row along a museum wall and sorted by shoe size. Die Schwelle (en. The threshold) thematizes the moment of transition. But where does the path lead, is it predetermined? Is it freely selectable? Is it about an independent decision or a path that already seems predetermined by social conventions? Is it a new phase of life? FORT addresses questions of presence and absence, of the individual and the masses. What transitions are still ahead of us? Art thus becomes an invitation to reflect on whether we would like to join the ranks or whether we would be better off stepping out of line: because perhaps it is all simply “2 much” already?
