Four-part installation, framed store back panels
Dimensions variable

Faded back walls of a Berlin store were transformed into art by FORT. The shadows of the former displays, including chains, ropes or advertising boards, can still be recognized as delicate images. From a distance, the panels look like specially produced photograms with a slight blur. In reality, they are found objects. The French artist Marcel Duchamps had already mounted the wheel of a bicycle on a wooden stool in 1913 and declared an everyday object to be a sculpture without further ado. The „readymade“ was invented. FORT follows in this tradition. However, the exhibited group of works is also a reflection on a changing society, as the play on words in the title makes clear.
